Knife n' Dice

Made for the GMTK game jam 2022!

Theme was "Roll of the Dice".

The game relates to the theme in two ways. One is the randomness of the fruit movements. The other way how it relates to the theme is throwing a knife to cut or 'dice' a fruit! When I think of dice I think of dicing a plant when cooking so I thought that this would be an interesting way to have the game relate to the jam.

I was very busy with life stuff so I wasn't able to get much done but I hope you all enjoy what I made! :D

The goal is to cut all of the random fruits!
After throwing a knife you won't be able to throw another until it has hit a target or has reached its destination.

Use A and D to aim your knife.
Press W and S to change your throwing distance.
Press LMB (left mouse button) to throw your knife.
Press R to restart the game.
Press ESC to close.
